I tried this one and it rocks!!!...definitely makes my top ten list...for me a top pick merlot means that it is great for sipping and great with a variety of foods. this one held up to both standards: was great on its own and also fantastic with a wide variety of tapas...loved it!

This dark Merlot has aromas of anise seed, ripe berry, olive and cigar box spices. On the palate, the wine is tightly structured with moderately firm, persistent tannins. Enjoy with grilled or lightly smoked foods, barbecued meats and braised root vegetables.
