Kendall-Jackson Zinfandel California 2010
Good rounded berry flavor without being to forward or sharp. Kinda woody in the finish but not necessarily oak. The wine held it's own with a pork and beef bolognese.
Started with a berry fruit at first with a short woody oak finish but with a pleasing citrus aftertaste. I am normally white wine drinker and I could drink this on it own (as I did) or very good with a meal. Clear red color.

Briary and zesty, offering appealing cherry and herb aromas, with crisp plum, anise and pepper flavors. Tannins sneak in on the finish. Best after 2013.
The 2010 Zinfandel Vintner’s Reserve is another attractive, up-front wine in this entry-level series. Dark cherries, plums, tobacco, menthol and hard candy are all layered into the expressive finish. The 2010 is varietally true, nicely balanced and reasonably priced. What else can you ask for? The 2010 is 80% Zinfandel and 20% Petite Sirah. Anticipated maturity: 2013–2016.
This is a big, full Zinfandel that’s blended with 19% Petite Sirah and 1% Chardonnay. With the right balance between fruit and spice, the wine is a liquid version of blackberry jam on toast.
Pleasant and soft-textured with wild berry, raspberry and tea notes, finishing with well-integrated tannins.
Soft and fruity, with good body and a core of black cherry, plum, cassis, spice and herb notes. A bit bright on the finish, but nice nonetheless.
A restrained style, showing pepper, cherry, raspberry and tea notes. Finishes with smooth tannins. Drink now.
