Kendall-Jackson Sauvignon Blanc Mendocino County Grand Reserve 2006
For the price and the quality this is by far one of my favorite white wines. Clean and well done. The scent makes me think of pears and the taste is full and fruity as a fresh melon. I love it.Add winemaker's notes

Nice California Sauvignon Blanc with bright acidity and fresh flavors. "Lime, melon and Anjou pears intermingle with sweet fruits such as fig to create this flavorful, crisp wine. The 2004 vintage has hints of kiwi, fig and mineral that give it the right touch of sophistication. The finish is surprisingly long making it a delightful sipping wine." – Randy Ullom, WinemasterAppellation: California Composition: 89% Sauvignon Blanc, 7.8% Semillon, 2.6% Chardonnay Growing Regions: 77% Lake, 10% San Luis Obispo, 4.5% Mendocino, all others less than 4% each. <small> The most recent available vintage will be sent, it may vary from the vintage indicated above.
