I felt like I was drinking juice. Much too fruit-forward, and so acidic the second glass practically burned my tongue--which was a good thing because I couldn't taste it as well.
I thought this was a wonderful chard for the middle of the road, everyday drinking. Oaky for some, but I like oak.

A flavorful mix of pineapple, orange peel, toasty oak and vanilla flavors that finish with a twang of citrus. Drink now.
A blend of Santa Barbara, Monterey and Sonoma in true K-J style, and very good in a generic sort of way. What it lacks in terroir it makes up for in flamboyantly ripe fruit. Impresses for its lush, creamy texture, layers of smoky oak and long, spicy finish.
The softly scented, white berry fruit relies on oak for its structure, a smooth wine with a touch of bitterness in the end to balance the sweetness. The blunt oak needs some air, or a creamy veal stew.
