The Kendall Jackson Grand Reserve has to be one of my favorite in-expensive white wines. Great value for a nice, crisp, dry chardonnay.

A chewy oak bar with some tropical notes (pineapple). Hollow mid palate and Short sharp finish.

I really love this wine. Its become a staple in my collection. Its definitely befitting a wine evening. Mildly fruity and not too dry.

In what must be the New World's finest value in Chardonnay, there are slightly more than two million cases of the 2005 Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay, for the first time made completely from Jackson Estate vineyards. Eighty-five percent barrel fermented, with malolactic fermentation, this is undeniably the finest Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay K-J has yet made. A beautiful nose of orange skins, honeysuckle, and tropical fruit is followed by a medium-bodied effort with terrific fruit, good acidity, a subtle influence of wood, and a crisp finish.
Made in the slightly sweet style that made this bottling famous, this Chardonnayrsquo;s pineapple, orange and peach flavors are balanced by crisp, coastal acidity. Itrsquo;s a fine sipper at an affordable price.
There are several million cases of the 2009 Vintnerrsquo;s Reserve Chardonnay (100% estate grown Chardonnay that is, remarkably, 100% barrel fermented), which comes primarily from Jess Jacksonrsquo;s coastal properties in Monterey and Santa Barbara. Winemaker Randy Ullom told me he manages to stir the lees on all the barrels once a month, which is astonishing. Abundant aromas of white peach, honeysuckle, green apple skins and a hint of tropical fruits jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, crisp, dry, fruity, well-made Chardonnay. It is a sensational bargain.
Tropical fruit, apple, citrus and melon aromas and flavors are complemented by buttery, toasty oak complexity.

The 2010 Chardonnay Vintnerandrsquo;s Reserve wraps around the palate with layers of expressive fruit. Butterscotch, spices, flowers and hazelnuts add complexity. This is another fabulous value. The entire 2,000,000 case production is made from estate-owned vineyards, which is simply mind-boggling to contemplate. Frequent lees-stirring and aging in French oak barrels impart a level of textural richness that is uncommon for a wine in this price range. Anticipated maturity: 2012andndash;2014.
This fresh, lively wine offers appealing, lemony apple aromas and flavors and a simple, refreshing finish. Drinkable now.
