This was a fabulous wine! Medium-bodied with red fruit - red currant, cranberry, cherry - and an earthiness on the nose. Initially, there was a fair amount of tannin, but as it opened up, it became smooth and just got better and better.

One of Oregon Pinot Noir specialist Ken Wrightrsquo;s new releases, this has a purity of flavors and a graceful balance that are totally disarming. A seductive wine, its pretty raspberry, black cherry and floral aromas and flavors linger enticingly on the open-textured finish. best from 2001 through 2008.
Bright ruby. Highly fragrant aromas of black raspberry, sassafras and potpourri, with a hint of musky herbs. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering deep candied red and dark berry flavors, zesty minerality and slow-mounting spiciness. Open-knit and fruit-driven but very fresh, finishing with excellent cling, subtle earthiness and persistent sweetness.
