Bright ruby. Highly fragrant aromas of black raspberry, sassafras and potpourri, with a hint of musky herbs. Sweet and seamless on the palate, offering deep candied red and dark berry flavors, zesty minerality and slow-mounting spiciness. Open-knit and fruit-driven but very fresh, finishing with excellent cling, subtle earthiness and persistent sweetness.
One of Oregon Pinot Noir specialist Ken Wright's new releases, this has a purity of flavors and a graceful balance that are totally disarming. A seductive wine, its pretty raspberry, black cherry and floral aromas and flavors linger enticingly on the open-textured finish. best from 2001 through 2008.
