Food Pairings for Ken Forrester Cabernet-Merlot Petit
Editorial Reviews for Ken Forrester Cabernet-Merlot Petit
Rubber Band-aids, ash and banana make me think there is plenty of Pinotage in this. Round and yet bright on the palate, with lovely sour strawberry and light cherry fruit. A touch of eraser and soft tannin make this interesting and fun, though it is bound to not please some palates. It’s almost peppery on the back end before delivering plenty of cherry on the moderately long finish, along with some pithy notes of lime. 87pts
Light easy sipping
Off dry but pretty good
I'm just starting to try reds. I prefer Reislings. I tried this Petit that I found in our local state store and loved it. I went back a month later to buy another bottle and they don't carry it. It was a collector's special. They buy a large quantity and when it's gone too bad. I finally found a red I liked and now I can't get it anymore.

A youthful fresh Bordeaux-styled blend showing ripe mulberries and plums with spicy, cigar box, undertones. Very accessible with smooth and balanced tannins.
