Very nice, dark. Great finish
Three and a half glasses
I really enjoyed this, delicious nose and wonderful on the palate with nice strawberry and cherry notes. - Tasted at Nora;s Wine Bar 1/9/10
A Gold Medal Wine Club selection. The Keller Estate La Cruz Vineyard 2005 Pinot Noir brims with aromas of ripe cherry with pipe tobacco, baking spice, orange peel and forest floor. As the wine opens up, the fruit becomes more concentrated and complex. Rich, sweet cherry and pomegranate flavors fan out across the palate and carry all the way through the long finish. While there are plenty of fine tannins and balanced acidity to give the wine structure, there is a silkiness to the texture that makes this wine delicious now, but also able to age beautifully over the next few years. Try pairing with grilled balsalmic-marinade salmon and Moroccan chickpea stew.

Loamy earth, forest floor and dried cherry fruit give this a decadent edge. Intense and well-proportioned, ending on a delicate note. Drink now through 2011. 2,452 cases made. by Wine Spectator Our Pinot Noir is all about balance, elegance and
Wine Enthusiast ReviewKeller enters the big leagues with this marvelously layered Pinot Noir. For starters, it's delicious. Dry and crisp, the flavors are of ripe cherries, raspberries, tangerines, pomegranates and cola with smoky spicy complexities from new French oak. The mouth feel is smooth and velvety, leading to a long finish. The aromas are a cornucopia of fruit with cherry, raspberries and blueberries and orange along with notes of sweet oak, juniper, tobacco and mineral highlights. Cherry, blueberry and mineral are the main flavors with vanilla and sweet oak adding complexity. This wine has impact on the pallet with its intensity, but this is not a flash in the pan style of Pinot. This is an elegant wine built to age gracefully over the medium term, with good acidity, fine tannins and long finish. While a bit young on release, it will evolve beautifully, and is best enjoyed from 2007–2012.
