Keever Cabernet Sauvignon Yountville 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

91+ points Robert Parker: ...500 cases... 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate vineyards... Slightly denser, more structured, tannic and backward than the 2007, it is a full-bodied effort with notes of black currants, heady glycerin levels, and more toasty oak in the background... should drink well over the following 15 or more years. (Dec 2010)

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
