Medium-bodied wine with flavor notes of grass, citrus and rind that give way to passion fruit and tropical fruit on the finish. Refreshing and crisp, it pairs well with shellfish and light, white fish.
Found Kato on sale for $9 today & tried it immediately. It compares favorably with more expensive SBs from NZ. By comparision, I like Mt. Nelson which runs $12-$15 in Michigan. Good mineral bite, not in your face citrus. Has some finesse. I give it a 4 as a good wine and a great value.
