Velvety. Unlike the winemakers notes, I did not taste a lot of spice (which I personally don't like a lot of)... the blackberry pie and casis was spot on. This bangs a ton of fruit, yet without being overpowering. Loved it.

this wine is one of the best the best i have tasted. it had enough spice lingering to make me want to keep drinking more, and the warmth of the ripe fruit was superb!
