Quince, lime and pear upfront. Oily and mineral with a crisp, gooseberry, finish. Hints of hazelnut on the finish as well. Served with sweet pea flan with a black truffle dashi.
The 2009 has more aromas and flavors than the 2010. Pours a bright and clear light straw color. Aromas of wet stones, minerals, citrus, pears along with some light floral notes. Starts off with nice pear and citrus flavors. In the middle the minerality and wet stone move to the forefront. Finishes with nice amounts of minerals with a nice citrus and pear undertone. Very clean, very refreshing. This is an easy drinker that leaves a moderately long taste on the palate. A great value wine.
