External Reviews for Kanonkop Estate Pinotage Simonsberg-Stellenbosch
Pinotage, a cross of Cinsaut and Pinot Noir, thrives in the Stellenbosch region of South Africa. Kanonkop has long been recognized as producing the benchmark for this varietal. Richly fruited with mouth-coating notes of red and black berries in a medium bodied style, this wine has good structure for ageing and avoids the astringency so commonly found with this particular grape variety.
