Kangaroo Ridge is a winery in South East Australia that was established in 1991. The wine gets its name from the wild kangaroos who surround the hilly landscape of the vineyard area. The slopes of the vineyard sites are ideal locations for producing wines from well-ripened fruit. The brand produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
tasted 2006 this week best wine I have ever tasted were can you get it in IRELAND?
We have shared a bottle this evening and were astonished at how full the flavours, almost sherry like, very drinkable, lots of blackcurrant hints. Gorgeous to drink on it's own, and definately a talking point round the table. Would imagine the addition of a little cheese and biscuits if you were peckish too. Outstanding!
