External Reviews for Kangarilla Road Shiraz Mclaren Vale
Solid, offering blueberry and plum fruit shaded with toast and licorice notes on the smooth finish. Drink now through 2005.
The outstanding, deep purple-colored 2001 Shiraz possesses all the opulence, fat, and full-bodied characteristics one expects from a McLaren Vale Shiraz. Notes of spice, oak, figs, blackberries, and dark cherries make an appearance in this lovely, pure, textured offering.
Why did the Kangaroo cross thehellip; oh, forget it. Nicely proportioned, with the requisite spicy, juicy dark plum and blackberry flavors, fashioned with enough oak to bring a toasty vanillin undertone to the party. Tannins are supple, but present enough to prop up this potently extracted Shiraz.
