This is apparently one of Mike Brown's favorite varietals. This is a very nice Sauvignon Blanc. Had a bottle with some pippies with white wine, parmesan, chili fettucine. Great complement, drained the bottle. A big improvement on the 2006 from what I remember of it. Not too acidic like some cheaper Kiwi Sauvigon Blancs, good amount of fruit and a little flintiness as per the winery's notes.

Winemaker's Notes:

With over 20 years of experience producing Sauvignon Blanc in the Santa Ynez Valley, the 2007 vintage shows off the best of winemaker Mike Brown's favorite varietal. In a clean new world style, the 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel without any oak influence. The product is a crisp, light and flavorful wine reflecting Sauvignon Blanc's characteristic brightness. With classic floral notes, subtle grapefruit and gooseberry overtones, and a slight flintiness, this wine is a delicious pairing with grilled fish, spicy seafood dishes and summer salads.
