This was the 2nd glass of wine with the Burger, very good, but not as great with the Burger as the 'Double C', but then the Bartender warned me that the Malbec would not be.

Just right for a low priced Malbec. Rich flavor and deep red. Nice bottle.

A fantastic value wine. Has won many awards and has received many high ratings from numerous wine critics (not that wine critics are the be all and end all). I have thoroughly enjoyed this wine, and have cellared 5 bottles for further enjoyment over the next 3 - 5 years. You'll be hard pressed to find a wine of this quality, at this price.

Vanilla, violets, blackberry and plum tie together to create an exciting and aromatic nose on this wine. And the flavors are just as fabulous, with plum, blackberry and dark chocolate adding some complexity.

Of a deep violet color, warm in the nose, with notes of ripe fruit and traces of tobacco and butterscotch. In the mouth it displays intensity, with strong, fleshy tannins; while at the same time juicy and enveloping; with a long, persistent finish.

This has a solid core of raspberry and macerated cherry fruit, laced with a bright floral hint and a lively mineral note that helps extend the finish. Very tasty.

Winemaker Notes - Of a deep violet color, warm in the nose, with notes of ripe fruit and traces of tobacco and butterscotch. In the mouth it displays intensity, with strong, fleshy tannins; while at the same time juicy and enveloping; with a long, persistent finish. A harmonious liaison with the wood, makes of this wine a fine example of the Mendoza terroir.

A big and mauling version of Malbec. The nose is minty and dark, while the palate runs syrupy and full, with heavy black-fruit flavors darkened even more by a persistent peppery streak.

The 2005 Malbec was aged in American oak for 9 months, and contains 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is purple-colored with an attractive bouquet of smoke, spice box, black raspberry and plum. Medium to full-bodied, it has plenty of jammy fruit, ripe tannins, and excellent balance. It can be enjoyed now and over the next 6 years.

Good loam and cocoa notes, with mineral, sanguine, currant preserve and pepper flavors. Smoky finish has a nice tug of earth, but also plenty of fruit. Drink now through 2007.
