Argentina, and in particular the region around Mendoza, is making a name for itself as the source of some of the finest expressions of Malbec ever made. Personally I love it. As a beginner, I find it to be a great beginner's wine ;) Fruity, with strong hints of tobacco, which make it taste so great, to my surprise. Delicate, but solid. A great choice in price/value, at least where I live.

Nice simple malbec. Huge blueberry and blackberry aromas. Plush palate of oaky blackberry with a thick, velvety texture. Soft, simple fruit bomb but very tasty.
