VERY nice Grenache-Shiraz-Mourvedre blend! Incredibly smooth, great fruit, leather, tar, pepper flavors swim around the mouth. Finish of black fruit and pepper. Excellent/Outstanding - 90 points.

A great Aussie GSM. Rich, smoky, and hot out of the bottle it mellowed to a smooth blend exhibiting balanced acid and fruit. Thick and delicious. Great value for $17.

This is a blend known as "GSM" of which the Aussies are fond. This example is extremely chocolate-y on the nose and full-bodied on the palate. Plush and complex.

Winemaker's Notes:

This wine displays fruit characters such as green apples, limes and fresh floral notes. Should age well over the next 4-8 years. Lean with a lovely vibrant green edge and centre. Lemony citrus notes. Clean and crisp on the palate. Citrus and some stone fruit characters such as nectarines on the middle palate. Tightly structured in it’s youth, it should age well in the medium term (5-8 years). This wine is un-aoked to produce a fruit driven, classic style of Semillon.
