Winemaker's Notes:

Hauptsächlich aus Prosecco ausgearbeitet, Pinot Blanc und Durello vervollständigen den Wein und verleihen ihm seinen trockenen, aber samtigen Geschmack.

In 1863, they produced their first vermouth, a blend of herbs and botanicals in fortified wine, which was met with instant success in the Piedmont cafes where it was introduced, during what became “aperitivo hour.” Eventually the brand expanded internationally and continued to grow throughout the 20th century. Of course, anyone who was around in the 1970s and 80s is familiar with the ubiquitous Martini & Rossi Asti Spumante ad campaigns, which introduced a worldwide audience to the slightly sweet style of Piedmontese sparkling wine. Their vermouths (available in rosso, blanco, rosato and extra dry) continue to be favorites as aperitifs and in cocktails, a go-to bartender favorite. In addition to the Asti Spumante style, they also produce dry Prosecco, sparkling rosé and a popular off dry Moscato.  Read less
