Winemaker's Notes:

90 points Peñín Guide: (macabeo 30%, parellada 30%, chardonnay 25%, xarel.lo 15%). Colour: bright golden. Nose: fine lees, dry nuts, fragrant herbs, complex, spicy. Palate: powerful, flavourful, good acidity, fine bead, fine bitter notes. (2010) Wine Spectator: Firm acidity provides structure, fleshed out by flavors of apricot, lemon peel, pine and anise, with a crisp finish. Drink now. (6/15/10)

His son, Antoni Juvé Escaiola continued producing wine at the family estate in San Sadurní d’Anoia and took the initiative to replant their vineyards during the Phylloxera blight, able to restore their business as soon as the grafting “cure” was realized.  In 1921, the first wine under the official Juvé y Camps label was produced by Joan Juvé Baqués and his wife Teresa Camps Farré. Today, the winery is known for its fine examples of sparkling wines, made in the traditional method in both vintage and non-vintage releases.  Read less

Short lived, but great finesse. Very clean and simple, good acid and subtle finish.

A leap up from the 2005 Reserva. A much finer finesse and complex body of raisins, stone fruit and bread. Nice finish of apple and grapes.

The noblest of Spanish Cava. A decidedly fresh, clean wine with perfect bead. Supremely elegant.
