Add your reviewHave had this at least 4 times. Loved it the first. Liked it less each time since. This time found it a little green lacking fruit, uninspiring.
[Chart House, Surf and Turf] Ruby-red in color; blackcherry and spice on the nose; on the palate, huge dark fruit--mostly blackcherry, cola, a hint of raspberry, and spice; moderate tannins, longish finish. Improved after the first hour; initially some mint and a little syrupy quality that disappeared over time. I agree it is not at all a classic Bordeaux; it does lack some balance with its fruity blast, but it can be fun.Previously tasted this wine at Sparks and everyone loved it with a great porterhouse and mushrooms, which is a perfect pairing to balance its fruit and thickness. This time my steak was marinated in a sweet mango sauce. However, the salad bar mushrooms, though low-quality and cold, did offer a hint of the wine's potential when properly paired.
Opened a bottle one week ago to check on how this was doing as we have a few more. Decanted it about 45 minutes before drinking. My impression is that the wine is past its best days. Drink now is my advice. It doesn't retain the structure or complexity it enjoyed two year ago. When tasting without food it was a pleasing wine but didn't stand up to the ribeye.

Intense, with chunky, tannic, herb-laced currant and leathery blackberry flavors. Turns dry and tannic. Best from 2002 through 2007.
A wonderfully rich and complex wine, smooth and seamless, with layers of ripe currant, black cherry and blackberry, with shades of anise, herb and earth. Finishes with just the right amount of acidity and tannin to sustain its long, lingering finish. Best from 2003 through 2012.
Smooth, rich, elegant and refined, with a tight, sleek focus on ripe, vibrant, even juicy red currant, black cherry and wild berry flavors that are impeccably balanced, ending with a long, complex finish that keeps the fruity flavors reverberating. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. Drink now through 2015.
Sleek and elegant, with a complex interplay of herb, green olive, black cherry and wild berry flavors. Supple and polished on the finish. Best from 2000 through 2006.
A smooth, silky texture supports ripe black cherry, blackberry, cassis, bay leaf, sage, anise, toast and chocolate flavors. Moderate acidity and firm, ripe tannins provide structure. The berry and herb flavors echo on on the long finish.
Dramatically true to its nature, Isosceles is a textbook triangle of two parts fruit and equal measures of tannin and acidity to form a well-balanced wine. Pronounced aromatics reveal attractive red currant, blueberry, dark chocolate and cedar complexities while the fruit is fully ripe and heavily laden with intense flavors that end with immense power and a long, rewarding finish.
