Good fruit and succulent tannins...a bit smoky with flecks of red raspberry
Strawberry, cherry, smooth.
Great Cabernet in the $25 price range! Wonderful fruit on the nose and great strawberry and coffee flavors on the palate. Super easy to drink! This may be my new go to Cabernet in this price range. Cheers!
Smooth and silky yet spicy too. The fruit seems a bit complex making it hard to peg what fruit flavors are coming out. It's almost as if it is a blend of many different things rolled into one.It reminds us of a dark cherry pie we had recently that was really rich and not sweet.
Smooth and fruity but not sweet.
Bright cherry notes
External Reviews for Justin Paso Robles Cabernet
The wine has balanced acidity and tannins, is moderate in alcohol and exhibits fresh raspberry, strawberry and black currant aromas.
Black currant, vanilla, toasted oak and a touch of earthy aromas are present in the nose and on the palate of this approachable, balanced, medium-bodied wine.
The 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon is a reasonably good value. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by a lovely nose of plums, raisins, black currants, and spicy oak. Fleshy, with attractive purity, richness, and density, this complex, high quality Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well for 5ndash;10 years.
Smooth, with a stalky vanilla bean and red currant core of flavors that offers appealing up-front complexity and a solid value at this price. Drink now through 2008.
More elegant than powerful, this Cab is medium-bodied and dry, with a silky texture. It has pleasant cherry, red currant, cola, violet, pepper and spice flavors, and is quite food-friendly for a Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now.
Rich and intense, with potent currant, leather, roasted coffee and nuts. Holds its focus and finishes with a complex mix of spice, dried dark fruits and ripe tannins. Drink now through 2012.
Deep ruby red, almost opaque core with bright, youthful violet rim. Bold black fruit-cassis nose, sweet vanilla note from American oak. Dry and mouthfilling, raspberry and blackberry flavors. Plush, round and dense, with modest tannins and a long, generous finish.
