A beautiful color, olive and earth on the nose, old-world in style, undeniably dry, but nobody does dry in California better than this, I think.

Good red, better after a good sit in the decanter. Great value for a good cab. Well, used to be a good value. The price has gone up in the last couple of years. I guess I should hold on to our last bottle.

What a bargain! Not up to the level of Silver Oak, Dunn Howell Mtn., Phelps Insignia, Shaffers Hillside Select, Caymus Special Select, et al, but it is definetely up there with the 2nd tier at a bargain price. It is amazing they can create such a good wine is Paso Robles

Dense inky purple hue. Exotic scents of plum, blackberry and rum cake with secondary nuances of brown sugar, blueberry and vanilla. Juicy flavors of black cherry and mocha with hints of cedar box. Well-combed, oak-laced tannins and lingering impressions of raspberry, mocha and toasted oak in the lengthy close. The 2006 ISOSCELES is inky purple with a slight red hue around the rim. Aromas of blackberry, black plum, leather, mocha, and cassis combine with light layers of caramel, vanilla and a touch of smoke resulting from the extended oak ageing. The entry is filled with red and black fruit. A balance of softness and acidity segues into a mid palate with length and weight. Seamless, integrated tannins marry with ripe fruit, and flavors of red currant, butterscotch and hint of pencil lead on the finish of this wine.
