What to Expect

Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

The mild to warm weather during the 2005 vintage allowed full ripening in the cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapes, which shows in the resulting berry fruit characters in the wine. The Juniper Crossing Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is made in a style for immediate drinking pleasure, but has at least 5 years cellaring potential.
