Deep red, persistent cherry nose followed by some hints of forest undergrowth. The mouth is well balanced with some viscosity and body. The tannins are ripe and flavours consistent with the nose: cherry, humus with some spicy overtones.

Notes: Grapes are sorted at the winery. Destemed. Fermentation and maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel vats for between 2 and 3 weeks. Malactic also in stainless steel. Maturing and bottling: Matured in cement vats for a year and a half. Frequent raking the first 3 months. Light filtration at the end of first winter. No blending during this period which takes place just before bottling at the estate in the spring.
