It is clear that Syrah does very well off of Stagecoach. Joshua is coming off of a single block on Pritchard Hill planted to an Hermitage clone. One of the smallest productions, 203 cases, ensures the rarity of the wine. Fermented in open tops for 22 days, nearly 20% is whole cluster. All native yeast. The nose is jammed with violet, blueberry and spicy raspberry. A richly textured palate showing beautifully structured blackberry, pepper wrapped around firm tannins.
