Josh Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
"An approachable blend with aromas of rich, dark fruit and baking spices on the nose yielding to fresh plum, blackberry, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean and Chinese five-spice. The wine is juicy with plum and blackberry flavors, prominently layered with smoky and sappy maple oak, roasted almonds and hazelnuts. Finishes long with fine, firm tannins." Winery
(2012 vintage) Became one of my best selling Cabernets as soon as I put it on the shelf. It's dry, but fruity, I taste Apple Cider, Oak, and dark fruit, Finish is remarkably smooth and elegant "silky" for a cabernet in this price range. Probably a great vintage for them, get it while it's available.

One of our favorite under-$15 Cabernets. Made by famed California winemaker Joseph Carr, the Josh is a softer, more approachable style than their flagship Cab, but with excellent balance and supple fruit. Terrific value!
Rich, aromatic dark fruits and baking spices delight the nose, yielding fresh plum and blackberry fruit, violet, dried fig, vanilla bean and Chinese Five-Spice. The wine is juicy with the plum and blackberry flavors prominent, layered with smoky and sappy maple wood, roasted almonds and hazelnuts, finishing long with fine, firm tannins.
This cabernet offers ripe black currant flavors, and deep dark fruit nuances, accented by spice and smoke, mached with a long soft finish.
