Joséphine Dubois Pinot Noir Bourgogne Grande Réserve 2006
Dense red color, almost too dark, with slight purple hints. Nice legs. Restrained nose with classic cherry and earth hints. Balance leans a little toward acidic but the aromas carry over onto the palate and the acidity leaves a mouthwatering finish. Good, simple Bourgogne. For those of us who like the occasional Burgundy experience with our burgers and beef stew this is a good one. Three glasses on its own, four in its price range.
