Joséphine Dubois Pinot Noir Bourgogne Grande Réserve 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Delicious, full of sweet, ripe cherry, blackberry and spece aromas and flavors. This is dense and concentrated with a well-integrated structure and long, cherry-infused finish.

Dense red color, almost too dark, with slight purple hints. Nice legs. Restrained nose with classic cherry and earth hints. Balance leans a little toward acidic but the aromas carry over onto the palate and the acidity leaves a mouthwatering finish. Good, simple Bourgogne. For those of us who like the occasional Burgundy experience with our burgers and beef stew this is a good one. Three glasses on its own, four in its price range.

Tasting Notes:

This dry red has a blackberry nose and a long cherry finish. It's slightly acidic and pairs well with beef.

Delicious, full of sweet, ripe cherry, blackberry and spece aromas and flavors. This is dense and concentrated with a well-integrated structure and long, cherry-infused finish.
