Bright red. Sexy aromas of candied plum, redcurrant, Szechuan peppercorn and cinnamon. The palate offers a restrained sweetness and insidious red berry and floral flavors, displaying building intensity and very good definition. Shows very good energy on the long, sweetly tannic finish.

Tasting Notes:

Typical bright ruby color. Bright blackberry aromas with a good dollup of black pepper. Light on its feet but with flesh on the bones to give it a nice mouthfeel. The tan- nins are soft and round, the acidity bright and refreshing. A very versatile zinfandel at the table. It is ready to drink now but should continue to develop for several more years.
