Joseph Phelps Sauvignon Blanc St. Helena 2011

Member Review by John Andrews:

I really like this wine ... reminds me of the St. Supery Virtu as it is blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillion. The wine has aromas of stony gravel and citrus. It is a rich creamy texture with good minerality and citrus flavors.

Very good Sauvignon Blanc. Mostly sauvignon blanc with a bit of semillion blended in to round out the taste. Almost translucent in color. Great aroma of citrus and melon. Tart mouth feel with great acidity with a long finish with a bit of oak to it.
