- Decanted for 30 minutes before serving. This was absolutely lovely and continued to develop in the glass with strong cherry notes appearing 20 minutes into drinking. Drank this on a cruise to accompany a steakhouse dinner. Couldn't have had a better bottle wth this meal! Every sip had a long finish that continued evolving a good 30 seconds or more after the wine was tasted. A true masterpiece! [95]

- 93,Wine SpectatorSleek, rich and focused, offering a tightly focused beam of spicy cedar, currant and black cherry. Firms up nicely on the finish, where the tannins flex their muscles, yet the fruit complexity and concentration pushes through.--'81/'91 California Cabernet retrospective. Drink now through 2010. Please note that we will send you a quote for shipping as our standarn we calculation is 1 bottle at \"750\" This is a \"3000\

- "92,Wine AdvocateThe 1991 Insignia is a powerful, backward, full-bodied wine with considerable aging potential. A saturated black/purple color suggests high extraction of flavor as well as youthfulness. The restrained, spicy, herb, cassis, and vanilla-scented nose is followed by rich, intense, tannic, lingering flavors that coat the palate. Give this broodingly large-scaled wine 5-7 years of cellaring and drink it between 2000-2020. "
