Joseph Phelps Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Backus Vineyard 1991

External Review by JJ Buckley Fine Wines:

A bare-knuckled, hard-edged, dark and inky wine. Packed with chewy, tannic plum and cherry flavors. This is big and powerful, probably needing a decade to mature and soften. And even then it will be on the brutish side. Try it after 1999. 1,565 cases... Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 1991 Phelps, Joseph Cabernet Sauvignon Backus Vineyard 750ml
