Explosive and wonderfully complex fruit framed in toasty oak leads to Bâtard-like weight with outstanding minerality and length. This is super stuff in a slightly California chardonnay style with its obvious size and richness though it's wonderfully elegant and long and I especially admire the excellent density. Approachable now though it will be better in a few years.
