What to Expect

Pinot Noir: Responsible for some of the greatest wines on earth - the exhausted red wines of France's Burgundy region. Pinot Noir is a notoriously fickle grape that expresses its origins like no other. It's a vine that needs to struggle to produce great wines but when it does the depth of flavors that range from cherry to cola can be explosive and the wines' bright acidity and gentle tannins make them approachable and widely appealing,

Winemakers Notes

This delicate Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France shows bright ruby red with slightly violet reflections. The bouquet has all the ripe cherry and cola aromas we love in a red Burgandy. The wine is well balanced with supple tannins and finesse. Expressive flavors of raspberry and blackberry give way to subtle pepper and mushrooms. An excellent value.

Wine Tasting NotesPretty red color, with bright ruby tones. Very pleasant bouquet reminiscent of cherry and ripe raspberry, with a peppery note in the background. Good balance with pleasant roundness and freshness; supple and refined tannic structure. On the palate, flavors of wild blackberries and raspberries dominate, with some undertones of licorice. After a little more aeration, there is a round and harmonious sensation as the wine then evolves towards all kinds of delicious red berry flavors.
