Joseph Drouhin Pommard 2012
Joseph Drouhin Pommard 2012 is 100% Pinot Noir aged for 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels (20% new). This red Burgundy offers wonderful fruit and spice character with pleasing acidity, good tannic structure and a long finish. "A great Burgundy, worthy of its reputation. An intense, bright, red colour; a powerful nose, with notes of black cherry and spice, evolving towards aromas of young leather. On the palate, the tannins give a certain impression of firmness, somewhat softened by a nice, harmonious texture. Persistent flavors in the aftertaste". -Tasting note by Véronique Boss-Drouhin, Winemaker
