The 2006 LaForet Pinot Noir has a brilliant ruby-garnetcolor. The nose offers effusivearomas of crushed berries(raspberry, redcurrant, andblackcurrant come to mind). Onthe palate, the wine is full ofcharm and very pleasant to drink -fresh and fruity berry flavors withlight and elegant tannins. Easy to match with food, this wine is bebest with assorted delicatessen meats, poultry, other white meat, au gratindishes, roasted meat and softcheeses.
