Joseph Drouhin Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos(1996)

Source: Burghound
A fully mature nose that evidences no sous bois (though it's clear that it will begin to display those tertiary aromas in the next few years) leads to sweet, round and full-bodied flavors that are utterly delicious yet retain excellent finishing intensity on the superbly complex backend. This has first rate mid-palate fat which serves to more than adequately buffer the still firm acid spine. At the top of its game now though it should hold here for at least 5 years. In a word, terrific.
