I always take a classic Bordeaux style approach to my Napa Valley Merlot, employing Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon in the final cuvee. It’s all part of a mission to produce complex, yet balanced wines that echo a European sensibility and exhibit approachability upon release.

Elegant, stylish, with depth and balance, this wine offers a bouquet of ripe plum, cassis, sage and subtle cedar. Its flavors are highlighted by wild berry, ripe cherry and a hint of olive and spice. Structurally sound, yet very approachable.
Notes: The wine was barrel aged for 13-16 months in 1 and 2 year old French and American oak; 33% new, 65% French Allier, Nevers and Tronçais.
