A value line from Napa winery Joseph Carr, the 2011 Josh Cellars Chardonnay delivers plenty of bang for the buck. A blend of tank and barrel fermented fruit, you'll find lush peach, pear, citrus and tropical fruit in a creamy-textured wine supported by just enough citrusy acidity.Ê The wood is nicely balanced here, giving a touch of vanilla and smoke for complexity and depth.Ê Fine to sip, excellent with food.

STYLE Josh Cellars Chardonnay has aromas of tropical fruits and citrus married with beautifully harmonious oak notes. A delightful harmony of fresh yellow and white stone fruits lingers on the palate and finishes with fresh and clean acidity. CUVEE 100% Chardonnay WINEMAKING The grapes for this Chardonnay were picked at optimal ripeness in the cool of the morning. After allowing to cold settle for 24 hours, the juice was fermented in oak and kept cold at 55° to retain its lively aromatics. Once fermentation was complete the wine was transferred to 30% new French oak and stirred on its lees, then settled and kept cold in preparation for bottling. - Winery
