My rating of this wine is based on price vs. quality ratio and I know Joe. His goal is to utilize the philosophy that great wine can be drunk every day as a part of the culture the old world embraces and the new is coming to know. It just has to be at a price everyone can appreciate.
I think he's done a phenomenal job at making high quality wines for the category with a package and message that elevates him by philosophy alone. One glass and you'll know what I am talking about; rarely will you find a wine that can be obtained for less than $20 that performs at the $35-40 level and Joseph read more...Carr has done so with the greatest of ease.
