The 'village' wine - Corullón being the village in Bierzo where these wonderful hillside bush-vines occur at their finest. Corullón is the summation of 210 distinct, bio-dynamically farmed parcels of fruit. Pure Mencia, with red cherry, tree fruits (dark mulberry), wild spice and complex perfume - wild berries and flowers, pickled cherry, violet over fennel, smokey meat, forest floor and charcoal. Dark, livery meat palate is deep, silky and sumptuous, driven by fine, long fruit tannin.

A blend of Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz A bit sweet on the nose and showing a bit of reduction underneath the herb, briar flecked blackberry fruit, and dry soil aromas. Air cleans things up nicely revealing some blueberry fruit and a little brushy, dried herb, chaparral-like tone. Thi is super fresh in the mouth and packed with berry fruit that is taut and tight and a little youthfully harsh with high acid and angular little tannins in the mouth. There is so much fresh fruit here that you can ignore the edginess and appreciate this for what it is a tense, fruity, mouth-cleansing wine with good length. 87pts

Intense aroma of young fresh fruit like cherry and blackberry. Dark in color, it also shows some spicy notes along with some wood. Well structured in the mouth it has excellent acidity and firm tannins. The final is long, seductive and complex. It's a wine that we can enjoy from now but it will also age a few years very well.

This Primitivo wine is a beautiful deep ruby color, intense, with rich plummy aromas. It is dry, soft, and rich with excellent balance, medium body ripe fruit flavors and a long finish with soft tannins. A wonderful compliment when served with roasted red meats, wild game, and spicy cheeses. Serve at room temperature. - Winery
