The color is pale, but crystal clear. The nose is standard for a chardonnay, slightly sour of grape leaves and low sugar content. The initial taste is mild in intensity and mild sweetness. The taste is consumed by the grape leaves and concentrated sunshine. The follow-through is over quickly and slightly bitter in the top of the throat.

The bouquet offers delicate aromas of Fuji apple, citrus, nutmeg, honey, and lightly toasted oak. The wine delivers lively and complex flavors of Asian pear, key lime, and Marcona almond. These refined notes offer a seamless expression of rich, bold flavors with a long, elegant finish. This wine will be delicious upon release and will continue to gain honeyed richness with an additional 3 to 5 years of aging. Serve between 55 and 60 degrees to ensure the full flavor development.

On the nose, offers multi-layered hints of pear, citrus, kiwi and hawthorn accented by vanilla crème brûlée. A creamy palate complemented by ample acidity supports flavors of Fuji apple, pineapple, and Meyer lemon with appealing minerality. This wine has a delicious balance of rich, aromatic fruit and crisp acidity. 13.5% alcohol.

Light, bright yellow. Fresh apple, fig and tangerine on the nose, with a kiss of vanillin oak adding depth. Pliant orchard and pit fruit flavors are given tangy lift by citrus peel and dusty minerals. The fruit is a touch sweet but the wine's minerality helps it maintain focus and energy.

A Chardonnay wine from California in USA. 2007 Jordan Chardonnay 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

After gentle pressing, a slow, cold fermentation occurred in small 100% French oak barrels (48% new). The wine was then aged in barrel for 5 months. Minimal malolactic fermentation allowed the wine to retain its natural acidity—a hallmark of Russian River Valley fruit. This acidity contributes to the wine’s clean and distinctive finish. 100% Chardonnay; 13.5% alcohol.
