Jordan Vineyard & Winery has gained an international reputation for magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon. The 1992 Jordan vintage is not exception and is destined for greatness! Once again winemaker Rob Davis has presented a splendid Bordeaux-style Cabernet Sauvignon possessing an uncompromising balance of fruit, body and bouquet.

Tasting Notes:

The deep red garnet color is evocative of sumptuous red velvet. Subtle earthy scents and sweet hints of fresh herbs heighten the cassis and luscious ripe black cherry fruit aromas followed by intriguing top-notes of black pepper and allspice. The 1992 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 80.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17.3% Merlot and 2.5% Cabernet Franc. It is 100% estate bottles, using grapes exclusively from Jordan vineyards. This elegant wine was aged for one year in predominately French oak cooperage followed by two years of bottle aging.
