Jordan Vineyard & Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 1990
Jordan honors the traditions of Bordeaux and blends its Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This beautifully made wine benefits from malolactic fermentation, two years of aging in French and American oak barrels and two years of bottle aging the Jordan cellar. Considered by the winemaker to be Jordan's finest Cabernet Sauvignon to date, the wine - which is extraordinary at the time of its release - will draw upon its innate balance of fruit and tannin to age very gracefully. Those who cellar this wine will find reward.
Food Pairings for Jordan Vineyard & Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County
This is classic Jordan. A brilliant tone of garnet red, this Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon displays the lushness of grapes grown in a stellar season in Alexander Valley. The tremendously rich aromas suggest cherries, cassis, and slight mintiness. The flavors are reminiscent of fresh summer berries with a complement of vanilla and almond. The fruit intensity is balanced with pleasant tannins and elegant texture.
