Rich taste, but light on the tongue. Cherries, very light tannins. Excellent with steak. A full-bodied red less than $50. Very smooth...

A combination of Merlot (18%), Cabernet Franc (2%), Petit Verdot (4%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (76%) creates well-integrated flavors, deep color, and balance. The bouquet offers distinct notes of cassis, black cherry, and cocoa. The aromatic qualities of the Petit Verdot marry well with the soft, alluring flavors of Merlot and complement the masculine tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Jordan 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon has a rich texture and opulent flavors, complemented by a restrained framework of oak that leads to a lingering finish of violet, earth, smoke, and cola.

(includes 18% merlot, 4% petit verdot and 2% cabernet franc) Deep red color. Blackcurrant and cherry cola aromas are complicated by musky tobacco and mocha; becomes more oak-spicy with aeration. Medium-weight dark fruit flavors are firmed by youthful... Stephen Tanzer. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from California in USA. 2004 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma County 750ml

Deep color and full mouth feel. The bouquet is highlighted with aromas of cassis, black cherry and dark chocolate, with undertones of sweet tobacco and cedar. The 2002 Cabernet is very rich in texture with opulent flavors of ripe blackberry, cherry and cassis. This Cabernet has a lingering finish of subtle earth, cigar tobacco, cedar, and a well integrated and restrained framework of oak.

Winemaker's Notes:

There is femininity about this vintage that will seduce you with soft, supple tannins and a sweetness of fruit. This wine has blossomed with cherry, plum and cassis notes laced with a thread of spicy American oak throughout the mid-palate and finish. “The best it’s ever tasted,” Winemaker Rob Davis said in our winemaker’s recent retrospective tasting. Decant for 30 minutes. Drink now through 2015.
