What to Expect

Pedro Ximénez is a grape that is rarely used to produce a dry table wine, but is used to produce many of Spain's finest sweet Sherries. As a table wine it is high in acid and rather light but when the grapes are used to make Sherry, frequently referred to simply as PX, the wines gain incredible deep, rich flavors of figs, raisins, molasses, nuts and chocolate.

Eggplant coloured pour, almost brown. Pungent aroma. Sweet and fruity, with a touch of fig and pomegranate. A little syrupy, but still good.
