External Reviews for Joly N. Savennières le Clos Sacrés
Nicholas Joly vinifies Chenin for the ages however, he also understands the need to have immediately accessible whites too. That's where this beautiful white, "Clos de la Bergerie," comes into play. It's easy, soft yet full on the palate. Dry with a great honeyed finish.
This white is all about expressing its origins. One of those rare breeds that's made with minimal intervention in order to respect true character. This Chenin Blanc is dry, honeyed, earthy and smoky on the finish. What a delight to drink this today or in the years to come. Do not overchill. Decant if possible and just watch the evolution in the glass.
