Our Zinfandel, like our Pinot Noir brings forth the best characteristics of this variety. Our concentrated winemaking style coupled with the cooler climate in the Russian River Valley appellation produces a Zinfandel rich in color, full and silky in texture with bright acid and deep fruit. We provide the fruit with ample hang time on the vine to encourage physiological maturity. Our program is designed to allow for 2 years of barrel aging as well as 1 year in the bottle prior to release.

- Wow, red Zin is really making a comeback and with this offering from John Tyler, I know why. The nose emits a delicious creamy spice note - something like eggnog - and follows out with a hint of cherry syrup. It's bright and fruity on the palate, perfect for pairing with food! I love the hint of licorice that I get up front, and mellow light body that it offers as it finishes. Nice!

- This is otherworldy Zin! The nose is all holiday smells - eggnog, nutmet, and cranberry laurels. One sip and I feel like I'm drinking liquid pie! Cranberries and cooking spices envelop my palette - where's the turkey?! The finish is almost candy-esque, but not in a Kendall Jackson way - kiwis and strawberries and a touch of raspberries. A great Zinfandel and proof that Zin-telligent Life is out there.
